What exactly is a Low THC Oil Registry Card?
In Georgia, this is the official term for a medical marijuana card. It proves you are registered with the state and allowed to legally buy and use low-THC cannabis oil for a health condition.
How is "low-THC oil" different from other cannabis?
Georgia’s law is very specific. Low-THC oil can have a maximum of 5% THC, which is the part of cannabis that can make you feel “high.” This focuses on the health benefits without strong psychoactive effects. Other products like cannabis flower or edibles are not yet legal here.
Am I able to get a card for anxiety?

What documents do I need to get started?
It’s pretty straightforward. You’ll need a valid Georgia ID to prove you live here and any medical records you have that show a diagnosis for a qualifying condition.

There are two parts to the cost. First is the fee for your evaluation with our doctor. If you’re approved, the state then charges a small fee of $25 for the card itself, which is valid for two years.
How long does it take to get my card in the mail?
Once the doctor adds you to the state registry, it usually takes about 10-15 business days for the state to process everything and mail your card to your home.
Where can I legally buy low-THC oil?
Once you have your card, you can purchase your medicine from any of the state-licensed dispensaries that are now open in Georgia.
Can I use a medical card from another state in Georgia?
No, Georgia does not accept medical cannabis cards from other states. You must have a Georgia-issued Low THC Oil Registry Card to be protected under state law.
What if I am not approved for a card?
